Printing from iPhone and iPad

I have been looking for tools to help with porinting from an iOS device. Came across two recently which work using a Mac and shared network printer.

AirPrint Activator is a small application that will enable a Mac OSX 10.6.5 + iTunes 10.1 hidden feature to allow your shared printer to be visible on your iOS 4.2.1 devices. AirPrint allow you to print from new generation of Apple iPhones, iPad and iPod Touch to a printer shared over your personal WiFi network.

Run Printopia on your Mac to share its printers to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Add unlimited virtual printers to save print-outs to your Mac as PDF files. Printopia translates for your printer, allowing it to speak to your iPhone or iPad even if it’s not an AirPrint-compatible printer.
